It’s that geektastic time again!!!  Comicpalooza rolled into Houston and I tackled it heads on.  The people watching was fantastic, my friends kicked butt with me, and I’m happily exhausted!

My Annual Comicpalooza 2015 Commissioned Original
Every year, my friends and I commission a picture to remind us of the awesome. I’m a pony! 😉

What I Learned

Every year, I pause my people watching long enough to attend a few sessions out of the hundreds at the conference.  🙂  This year was just great for sessions.

I learned about the mission to Mars that Nasa is working on…it’s about 20 years out.  Woot!  You should follow them at https://twitter.com/NASA_Orion.  And spread the word!

I learned dozens of facts and tips about wigs.  I will remember to use ink in rubbing alcohol if I ever need to spray a color on a white wig.  And hair products generally don’t work on wigs since the fibers aren’t porous.

I also had fun in a “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” humor hour!  And I even went to a session just for those of us that are 18+ that discussed the fetishes of the Victorian era compared to the present led by a small Steampunk group.
